Institutional and commercial relationships
The Consortium has started a series of individual and collective promotional events to develop and enhance the relationships with potential national and foreign buyers.
For this reason, the relationship with foreign buyers is becoming more and more strict and trusty. Such buyers can be contacted on the basis of the commercial relationship started by some member companies or, in the case of a new one to be started, through the collaboration with bodies and subjects, which can then start a relationship.
A good opportunity has been offered by the company “Acqua minerale Zilia” which, having already set up a sale network in Corsica, has organized some meetings among its buyers and the member companies of the Consortium on the Tortona territory in order to make the local agro-industrial products known and appreciated and to develop new commercial agreements.
The collaboration with Tortona City Council started during the Lugano fair aims at launching a series of exploratory missions abroad in order to re-launch the “made in Tortona" food sector. These missions, besides the interesting aspects of cultural exchanges, twinning and educational initiatives, market relationships, aim always at promoting the local productions which, in the case of the Consortium, have been grouped in a simple and effective structure with ability and competence.
As it happens every year, adherent companies have attended the local oeno-gastronomical exhibition titled "Assaggia Tortona" (“Tasting Tortona”) organized in collaboration with Tortona City Council, which always attracts many visitors and important names of the catering sector.
